Services
What to Expect
The goal of psychiatric care is relief from suffering—whether physical, emotional, or behavioral. Your care begins with a comprehensive psychiatric assessment. During the first two or three appointments, we’ll work to understand what’s happening and discuss therapy, lifestyle, and medication options that fit your values and support your well-being.
Payments
Corvallis Psychiatry is out-of-network with all insurance companies. If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill (itemized receipt) that you may submit for possible reimbursement.
Please note:
Medicaid and Medicare do not provide out-of-network reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Adult Initial Psychiatric Assessment with Treatment Options
Part 1:
(Adults)
75 minutes — $600
(Pediatrics)
90 minutes — $600
Part 2:
50 minutes — $400
This two-part evaluation explores your medical, developmental, and social history as it relates to your current challenges. It may include standardized questionnaires, a brief neurologic exam, or laboratory testing.
By the end of the second appointment, we’ll review therapy, behavioral, environmental, and medication recommendations and decide collaboratively on the best path forward. The second visit usually occurs 1–2 weeks after the first.
Follow-Up: Medication and Psychotherapy
50 minutes — $400
Follow-up visits occur every few weeks at first, then space out as symptoms improve. As symptoms improve, many patients transition to shorter visits.
Brief Follow-Up (with or without Psychotherapy)
25 minutes — $250
Shorter follow-ups focus on medication management or a specific issue. These are often used once treatment is stable or when a limited focus is appropriate.
