Tyler Fanning, MD
I grew up in a rural town in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, in a family of educators and farmers. I attended medical school at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and completed both General Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
My training bridges adult and child psychiatry, giving me a broad perspective on developmental and life-cycle issues. I integrate evidence-based medication and psychotherapy with attention to lifestyle, sleep, movement, nutrition, and the broader environment of well-being. Together we’ll design a treatment plan that reflects your values and helps you pursue your potential.
I often work with individuals and families facing anxiety, mood challenges, and ADHD or other forms of neurodiversity, who are seeking a collaborative, growth-oriented approach to care.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me exploring the trails around Corvallis, reading, teaching pediatric psychiatry fellows, and spending time with family.
